Short Course in Genealogy

The short course in Genealogy aims to engage students in an investigation of their familial roots while contextualising the emergent details of their ancestry within the appropriate historical setting. The course aims to provide students with a framework of exploration in which students are supported to develop a methodical approach to research and enquiry.

The skills acquired by students through the explorative approach of making connections and interrogating documents and records will be directly transferable and applicable to many other areas of both the curriculum and in the real world.
